OUR MISSION: Our goal is to make it possible for seniors and their families to stay in their homes independently and fully enjoy life here while having access to the care and resources needed as they grow older. CCB, in conjunction with the New Milford Hospital and the Visiting Nurses Association of New Milford, hopes to become the pilot project for other smaller towns in Connecticut and surrounding areas wishing to assist their senior residents. There is no membership fee required to access out services. |

***FREE SENIOR SUPPER COUPON***
New Milford Hospital is offering a FREE Senior Supper Coupon to any Bridgewater Senior bringing unused medicine for disposal at this event. At the same time, in cooperation with New Milford Hospital, we are sponsoring a Drug Take-Back Program to encourage the proper disposal of unused medicines. Improper disposal of unused medicines can pose other dangers to our community including unintentional poisonings, illegal distribution, and substance misuse or abuse. Unused medicines should never be disposed of in the garbage or toilet because they find their way into the ground water and pollute the environment. You can help us to keep everyone safe by bringing your unused medicines to the Town Garage May 5, 2012 from 9 am to 12 noon. A representative of New Milford Hospital, along with a representative of law enforcement, will be at the Town Garage so residents can safely turn in outdated or unused medicines to be disposed of properly in accordance with DEA guidelines.
